Praise the Lord! My dad was up walking the hospital hallway tonight! He hadn't had any pain medication since 4 a.m. but tonight he did ask for something due to his arm aching so much. It had swelled during the day and was causing him discomfort, so he was given a Percocet. He was moved out of recovery and into intensive care this afternoon, a day earlier than most patients! Is God a powerful God or what?
My entire family knows its prayer from believers that are helping dad and all of us through this process. Mom and Dad were so blessed reading the encouraging comments I had printed out and taken into the hospital.
We had some fun times while hanging out in the waiting rooms. Here are a few photos to prove it! Click photos to enlarge for better viewing. Enjoy!

I am so glad everything went well. I am sure Grace will be encouraged by the pictures. Thanks so much for showing them. I wished I could have been there at the hospital but God had me right where I belonged.. working and "watching" Shane. Whew! what a hand full I put in a whole 10 hr work day and he never interrupted me at all. I had to stop to see if he needed anything. We had a great day. Hope to do it again (under different circumstances, of course!).
Love ya. Hope you got some rest.
Sure hope Grandpa is doing better...
Pam, thanks for sharing. looks like a party and I missed it!
We always made the kids the medical glove balloons in the jungle! And I think Johnny would be batter named , The Stinker!
Pam, I am so glad that your dad is better! I think that the prayers were awesome, but I also see how much family that he had nearby. What a blessing that you all could be there! It's really wonderful!
I am so happy for you guys! I will continue to pray that his recovery goes well. You guys look like you almost had fun at the hospital. I am sure you gave the nurses a smile!

It was fun seeing the pictures. I've spent many an hour in a hospital waiting room, but I don't think I had that much fun! ;)
Wonderful news, so glad he is continuing to do well. Please know you are all in my prayers.
Big Hugs, Lyndy
The news continues to be encouraging. Looks like everyone did a fine job of trying to be occupied. I gave report in church last night of your daddy and our church rejoiced with you all. We are continuing to pray for him as he recovers. Love you!!
