I'd like to share a written prayer I came across recently which I hope reflects the desires of my heart.
"A Puritan Prayer"
O God of the highest heaven,
occupy the throne of my heart,
take full possession and reign supreme,
lay low every rebel lust,
let no vile passion resist Thy holy war;
manifest Thy mighty power,
and make me Thine forever.
Thou art worthy to be praised with my every breath,
loved with every faculty of soul,
served with my every act of life,
O help me then to walk worthy of Thy love.

I love this prayer.
What a good idea to post your prayer requests. It's wonderful to pray together even from so far away.
Great idea listing your prayer requests. Tell Pat thanks for the recipes too. Love the look of your blog, nice work.
Thanks once again to Jackie Jo Vernoy McCobb for the cuteness of my blog! She had a streak of inspiration tonight! (Sat.) I told her to surprise me and she did so very pleasantly!
I have highlighted and printed your prayer requests so I can remember them when I pray! You have such a sweet heart!
