Friday's Show and Tell

Kelli over at" There is No Place Like Home", is the host of Friday Show and Tell. She explains it this way:"Welcome to Show and Tell Friday! Do you have a something special to share with us? It could be a trinket from grade school, a piece of jewelry, an antique find. Your show and tell can be old or new. Use your imagination and dig through those old boxes in your closet if you have to! Feel free to share pictures and if there's a story behind your special something, that's even better!"

Shane striking a pose!
Here are my two precious sons! I am missing these two guys so much while they are away with friends on vacation!
Today for my Show and Tell, I thought I would show you some things you may find around your home if you have a nine year old little boy!
A "LINE" of thread taped to the TV stand and to the arm of an easy chair! All so the Star Wars figures can get where they need to go!
You may find "good" fighting "evil" in your foyer!

Or you may just need to ....
Beware of Storm Troopers!!

Shane was in Mexico last week and in Orlando all this week. I have missed walking through the house and finding his men and traps everywhere! Josh used to do the same thing at this age.

I know he didn't leave those like that when he left. You have too much time on your hands, mom. You can make Grace some banana pudding. LOL.

I have finally added a post to my blog. No time with Grace, school and work.

Hope to see you soon.

LOL How sweet! My sons (grown now) were huge Star Wars fans. The figures were everywhere at our house, too. One son has not forgiven me for getting rid of the figures.

How fun to have *zip lines* in your home! This gave me a chuckle.

I know a family of 5 boys and oh my goodness, their antics are just belly-busting fun.

On another note..could you share more about your son's college change mid-summer? Thanks. You can reach me at lulashardt@yahoo.com if you like.

You have some fine looking sons and I know you must be very proud of them along with your husband. The pictures of the nine year old brought back many memeories to me. With four boys in the house there was always something wonderful going on. I miss those times sometimes. connie

Oh this brings back memories of when my son was little. Now his children do the same thing. Cute as long as I don't have to be the one picking them all up!

Cute boys and cute imagination.

Aren't the boys afraid their toys will get lost or trodden on and broken,if they leave them lying around? Even worse, a cat like ours would take these small objects and hide them under a rug!!

Anonymous said...

With all girls we never had those toys, but I bet my husband would love to come and play!

Precious! It must be tough being without your guys...thanks for sharing this small part of them with us!

your show and tell just gave me a great laugh!

when I was younger, my brother and I used to stay with my cousin during the summers. While my brother and cousin would play with GI Joes, I would make sure that Barbie could also climb the ropes and drive the tanks as well.

by the way, you have two most-handsome sons! What a blessed mother you are!

That's a sweet S&T. Now that Bonehead is grown up, I miss the domino walls and the Matchbox Cars and the ENDLESS path of Legos.
