The Book Quiz

You're Adventures of Huckleberry Finn!

by Mark Twain

With an affinity for floating down the river, you see things in black
and white. The world is strange and new to you and the more you learn about it, the less
it makes sense. You probably speak with an accent and others have a hard time
understanding you and an even harder time taking you seriously. Nevertheless, your
adventurous spirit is admirable. You really like straw hats.

Take the Book Quiz
at the Blue Pyramid.

I'd really love to hear from those of you who know me. Is this me?

Pam I ended up being To Kill A Mockingbird...oh well maybe I'll try it again!

I love Mark Twain and am insanely jealous!

Sometimes I feel like the quizzes are well too hard for the likes of me:)

Don't know you well enough to be able to answer this one. What do you think?

JM - could you elaborate on your response!

lol! I guess I was thinking of a foreign accent, not southern! And I have never known you to wear a straw hat.

Jungle Mom - true on those points you mentioned, but the first paragraph is so me. I thought you would actually make a comment about this part of understanding the world -- "the more you learn about it, the less
it makes sense."

The first part is true..."the less it makes sense." That would explain the blank stares! As for the straw hat...well...ha ha!

Hmmm, I don't know if this sounds like you... but I do think you are very humorous and insightful, and Mark Twain's writing is definitely both of those things. So, maybe their description is not right on, but maybe the spirit of the book is something like you... wanna hear something sad? I was Grapes of Wrath. There's really nothing good to say about that!!! =) Then I tweaked my answers a bit, and I was the Merriam Webster Dictionary. I would have much rather have been a funny Mark Twain book!!!

The first time I took this...I don't remember the book name, but it was NOT me. In fact it was the opposite. So, I took it again. This time I was To Kill A Mockingbird, which was actually much closer.

You're Babar the King!

Though your life has been filled with struggle and sadness of late, you're personally doing quite well for yourself. All this success brings responsibility, though, and should not be taken lightly. Life has turned from war to peace, from damage to reconstruction, and this brings a bright new hope for everyone you know. These hopeful people look to you for guidance, and your best advice to them is to watch out for snakes. You're quite fond of the name "Celeste".

Well, I'm not sure what sadness of late they're referring to. And I don't know anything about a war I've been in. But I have been bitten by a snake and always caution others to watch out for them. AND! I am very partial to the name Celeste. She was the girl we all wanted my brother to marry. LOL

I believe when you are your alter ego, you may wear straw hats! Also, there is no mistaking your Southern accent!! And, you may add the flair of Mexican....so there you have it!! And, you do think in black and whiote most of the time....the gray areas seem not to pique your interest unless others elaborate!!!

You are one of a kind!!!AND of course, special to us!!
