I Just Love the Pomp and Circumstance!

I loved watching the Queen's visit to America. I still have some of that little girl, make believe, fairytale mentality in me I guess! Even though I enjoy watching all the pomp and formality, I'm very happy to be a simple gal who didn't have to live a life on display! (oops, wait a minute! What am I saying here! I did live my life on display! I was a PASTORS' KID!!!)

Make sure your speakers are turned on. The song is what makes this video so entertaining!

While watching the video was fun, I couldn't help but wonder if Queen Elizabeth II has ever had the privilege of hearing a clear account of the plan of salvation.

Pam, when the Queen/King is coronated there across the pond, they swear an oath to be defenders of the faith (Christian Faith). As time goes on, I have to wonder just how much they truly believe in their Faith.

Now, if Prince Charles should become King, I will be even more worried as to just what faith he would defend, as on more than one occasion, he has made public statements about how much he admires Islam and he has participated in plenty of Wiccan services as well. That is enough to make anyone, who is a Christian, shudder.

H.M. The Queen is above all a deeply devoted Christian and has been throughout her entire life and holds a deep affection of many people both in the UK and indeed around the world too.

However, HRH Charles, I find his character and behaviour somewhat disturbing and a great many of us do.

So do I lol :)

as for her getting the plan of salvation, I would guess that a humble Baptist would not be able to have a visit with her. But we can pray for her and maybe one day, she'll get reached.

I enjoyed that so much, Pam! Thanks for posting it...don't think I'd seen very many young shots of the Queen. She is so turning into her mother!

You know....I have wondered about the Queen's spiritual condition when I've seen pictures of her this past week as well. I pray she has heard the gospel and that she accepted Christ.

Do you not find it interesting that Americans had to be taught etiquette on when and how to bow and proper attire for each occasion....seems they served tea BAGS with tea for her last visit and the tea was not drank....hmmmm...wonder why???LOL---everyone knows the tea is brewed from leaves, NOT BAGS!!!(Dumb social specialists!!)
