Inexpensive Cure-Alls

A friend sent me the following information. I can't vouch for them since I haven't tried any yet. However, I do intend to try a few of these ideas. They make snese to me. Have any of you tried any of these home-made cures? If so, I would love to hear about it in my comment section.

( Note : Alka-Seltzer Plus Cold Medicine is not the same..and contains aspirin, which can cause stomach bleeding if you have ulcers.)

I know that Coca Cola works on battery terminals. When the terminals are corroded, simply pour fresh Coke over them and it cleans them right up! The flat stuff won't work, I won't even drink that.

I have used the dawn detergent on the dogs and the Wesson oil for ear mites makes sense because the best way to get rid of head lice)Sorry, but it happens when you work with indians!= is to cover the head in cooking oil, slap on a shower cap for 24 hours. It smothers the live ones and softens the shells of the nits! WAALAAA no lice!
Also have used honey for skin infections.

Pam
these sound great. I am going to copy and sace them and try them out when one pops up.

One I use and I have to say it seems to work. When you cut yourself and your cut gets infected, I soak it in warm milk and crustless bread. I let the cut sit in the solution for about 3 minutes and I move my finger or whatever has a cut in it around.
It really seems to work *S*

Thanks for the great ideas!
