These have been a couple of my favorite verses for several years now. Yet, I still find myself "leaning to my OWN understanding"!
"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart: and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct they paths."
Have a spendid Lord's Day!

His ways are HIGH ABOVE ours, and His thoughts are now always of our
understanding!!
But, impatient as we are and wanting to see the end of the tunnel, we must wait for God does not slumber or sleep, but is at work in our hearts and lives!!
Love and hugs!!
Aw, Pam! I can't read those verses without my eyes "sweating" a little. That was my dear Gramma's favorite passage, and she lived it out so beautifully. Life certainly wasn't easy for her, and she experienced incredible pain and suffering. But she always had a smile, and I can still see in my mind those little index cards laying around the house with that verse on it in her hand writing to remind her: trust... trust... trust.... She died suddenly almost a year ago when I was 500 miles away, and not a day goes by in which I don't miss her immensely.
Thanks for the sweet memory you brought to me tonight. Nevermind the tears... the eternal joy of trusting in the One who knows the way holds the thrill of seeing Gramma again.
God bless!
Pat - My faithful friend!
Brit - I'm so pleased you shared this wonderful testimony with me!
Hi Pam! Thanks for the comment on my blog...glad you enjoyed the music! That's Ryan Seaton of Ernie Haase & Signature Sound with the solo, and the 3 other guys of the group backing him up. The song is from their latest project, "Get Away, Jordan". They're fantastic, both vocally and personally!
Check out their website for more info and to hear more music: www.erniesigsound.com
Blessings!
The Lord is the one I depend on to get me through each and every day always giving thanks for the things that were given to us. Good verse!
Hannah - I love Ernie, have for years! I thought the music on your site sounded like Signature Sound. I have not seen them in person and have only seen a small part of their dvd. But I was a Cathedral junkie and even followed Ernie around FL during his solo stint! I went to their site - thanks for sharing!

We are human and sometimes it just happens that we lean on our own understanding. God knows our frame and knows that we will....we just need to recognize it when we do and ask for forgiveness and get back to leaning on Him.
Dear Pam,
These verses are one of my fravouites, thank you for sharing them with us!
Lovingly,
Clare
