Elena's first time to help load the dishwasher (at Aunt Pam's) - July 2006!
First let me say a big "Thank You" to all who have been praying for my niece, Jackie and her hubby, Brian, missionaries in Paraguay. They are both down with the Dengue fever. We pray that 18 month old Elena doesn't get it. Jackie is in her fourth month of pregnancy. To read more about Dengue, click this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dengue_fever
On another note---
I was so happy to receive a comment on my humble, little blog from a dear lady who has written a wonderful post concerning Christian wives and finances. I also recommend you use the link she furnishes at the bottom of her post to read a sweet essay by Washington Irving. Happy reading!

I will definitely keep them in my prayers. May God heal them quickly so they may continue in the works of our Sweet Lord.
My prayers are with them. God has them in His hands and what a comfort that is! May God bless them in their service to Him.
Still praying!!
Thanks Pam for the article and for asking for prayer for the kids.
Pam, in reading your blog, I just realized I had been praying for some who are kin to you. It was the children of the author of Jungle Hut. Her children had Dengue fever. Isn't that amazing how God works. I heard they are better and I was very glad to hear the news. So it is really good to meet you. Connie from Texas
Thank you ALL for the prayers.
