Good morning all! We are sitting here in the surgery waiting room. Mom was here at 5:30 this morning. We visited after she finished with all the prep stuff. Then around 8:00 they took her back to surgery. We sent her on her way with lots of hugs and kisses and messages from all of you. Dad prayed over her before they wheeled her out.

Her surgery will be around 9:00 a.m. We were told not to expect her out until 3:00 p.m. or so. Dr. Ridell is one of the best and is doing essentially 4 surgeries at once. A plate (rod) will be inserted, a couple of fusions, and a couple of bulging discs will be taken care of. They told her she will be on her stomach and in much pain afterwards. Wow! She seemed a little concerned about that!

We do so appreicate your prayers and we're optimistically looking for mom's quality of life to greatly improve after this surgery.

Praying now Pam.

Yes, to answer your question, I was raised in Alabama. We 'carry' folks places...we don't 'take' them places!!!

LOL!

I hope all goes well for her, Pam.

I've missed you too. I've been really bad about keeping up with blogs lately...even my own.

God bless!

Wow, your parents have had more than their share of health issues. Seems like the enemy is wanting to put a clamp on their impact in this world, but thankful for their strong spirits!

Praying all went well with the surgery and that your mom will heal quickly and with less pain than expected!!!!
