Usually Agustin and I take our walk in the morning or evening, but never after dark. Tonight was different. We have been alone since Friday night, so we went to supper at Red Lobster, planning on using a gift card that someone gave us. However, the manager footed our bill so we still have our gift card to use during vacation at the end of August. God is so good to us! Anyway, back to my topic! My hubby and I took our walk after dark, which we never do. The night sky was so clear and the stars were just a twinkling so beautifully. Hubby told me to just look up and enjoy the stars. We went on to discuss how we just don't enjoy nature and God's creation the way we should. It was nice to walk the streets of our neighborhood, hand in hand, enjoying the stars and each other. I plan on doing it again real soon!
What about you? When or where did you last take time to enjoy, study, or revel in God's creation?
Psalm 19:1
"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handiwork."

I take an early morning walk (about 6:30 am) and again at midnight, with Munchkin. Both times gives me a chance each day to enjoy the wonders of God's mighty hand, during the morning when I listen to the birds awakening and watch the sun rise, and at night as I contemplate the multitude of stars in the vast universe.
The rain lifted and a beautiful orange-glowing moon appeared in Pa.....we loved it!!!
Also, the flowers were EVERYWHERE....just cascading over fences, etc.
I must say the cornfields in their curving rows were something to behold...the pattern was a beauty within itself!
And I cannot forget all that view from the sky....even the thunderclouds we floew through and lightning in the distance....WHAT BEAUTY SURROUNDS US TO ENJOY....by our Creator!!
The thunder always makes me think of God's power. I love loud thunder.
AWWWW, that was so sweet!
Sounds like a very enjoyable walk. We happened to be walking late last night also, but for an entirely different reason which I've posted about. The night sky was wonderous..
What a lovely walk it sounds like you two had. I love that you enjoy being together so much.
Hugs, Lyndy
That sounds like such a lovely walk!

Sounds like a lovely walk. We like to take in the beauty of God's creation at the Kings Mountain Battleground and other scenic places like that. We love driving through the mountains and stopping at the overlooks and things like that.

What a wonderful time that must have been with your husband. Red Lobster followed by a starlit stroll sounds like the perfect evening to me. Very romantic!! =)
This is a good reminder for me to appreciate creation, too. I can't remember the last time that I did...
