HELP!

I don't know enough about blog or web design. I wanted my Christmas Tree photo to cover the entire header of my blog with the text to appear on top of it in a large elegant font. If the tree must stay to the left as it is now, does anyone know a way I can get the text to appear in the big red blank to the right of the tree?? I'd appreciate any help that is offered! Thanks!

I don't have a clue, but it's really gorgeous! I'm looking at mine and it's without the ornaments yet.

The tree is beautiful!!!! I, for sure, don't know how to do these things. You notice Penless Writers header remains the same!!!!
Next time I have a midnight encounter I'll be sure and let you know so you can jump on a space ship, or twitch your nose, or something to get here. Wouldn't that be the greatest fun!!!!! It certainly would for me Pam.

I have not ever been able to fix that. as you see on my blog. I think it has to do with the template I picked and i have no interest whatsoever in changing my template. I like it fine.

good luck!

Hmm....if you go to layout and then click edit on the header and then you can upload it there. But I dont really know! :(

I believe the tree will have to stay put. I've never figured out a way to get the header picture moved from the left.

But you SHOULD be able to go into your layout, then click fonts and colors. Another window will open and you can make some changes there. But I don't think you'll be able to find anything elegant.

Well, I don't reckon that I've been much help. LOL

Pam, the only thing I can think of is to pick one of the Blogger templates that has the header/title portion already placed in the center. Then you can upload the picture, and select the option (in "edit header" section) to have your text on top of your image. You can change page background color and text color on any of the templates, so you can still have your red and gold color scheme.
