AY CARAMBA! WOULD SOMEBODY PLEASE RESCUE ME FROM MYSELF!

I have a little something to admit here. It could be hilarious, if it were not so embarrassing! Concerning my award from MIGHTY MOM, you know, my post from Monday night - I LIED! Not intentionally mind you, but none the less, I've led you all to believe that she and I have much in common. I wouldn't mind that at all; but you see, when I posted my answers to the meme in my previous post, I had forgotten that I had already changed some of the answers and had saved the entire thing in my drafts a couple of months ago when she first sent the meme to me. (YES, I am that absent minded sometimes!) Hence, last night when editing the post, I found it amusing that I didn't need to change many of Mighty Mom's answers, which I realize, in retrospect, were MY answers!
CLICK HERE TO READ HER TRUE ANSWERS!

Get it? See why I'm embarrassed to death and have a red, hot, burning face right now???!!!?? And now my dilemma is....WONDERING IF MIGHTY MOM IS SORRY SHE SENT ME THAT AWARD IN THE FIRST PLACE!
Turns out her favorite color is purple, she drives a momma van, and has many other neat things about her that are totally not in common with me! She left a comment suggesting I go back and read her answers. I did, and the blushing began! Can I blame this entire hullaballoo on "menopause"??? It's okay, you can go ahead and laugh with me.

Yup, those silly hormones will get you everytime, LOL.

I did the questions for you to read my answers. Thanks for thinking of me and passing on the award. You are so sweet!

Pam, I am sorry that you were embarrassed but that was truly sooo funny. It sounds like something that I might have done. Thank you for sharing it, my heart is still smiling. You are so sweet. connie from Texas

Oh wow. That's funny though. Glad to know I'm not the only one that does that. Blame hormones. It works for me!

oh dearest friend!! I really wondered long and hard how to alert you to the situation WITHOUT embarassing you! I'm sorry you were embarassed.....but I have to say, I find it simply the second most hilarious situation of the week. Second to my conversation tonight with Sonshine, which I'll be posting here in a bit.

I figured that you'd started on it and then went back later as that is EXACTLY what I would do!! So see, we DO have much in common...just not the car :-)

I blame my daughter for my poor memory as I think I remember having a better memory before she came along....I think.....

I REALLY REALLY REALLLY LOVE YOUR BLOG!!! and you too!!

Hey, it's ok! It's just blogging awards! You didn't swipe jewelry or anything "accidentally!" LOL

And I'm sure no one thought you meant to lie! Most people save their wrath for the big things, hon. Hope you are well today! Hugs!!

Oh, that was an adorable story!! And like so many have already said, I can totally see myself doing the same thing, and never even catching on!!!

What a fun word, too, hullaballoo. Last week I read "bamboozled" on someone's blog and I used it every chance I got... hullaballoo will definitely be popping up in my vocabulary now, too!! =)

Oh, my, don't feel bad we all make embarrassing mistakes from time to time. This must be the month for them, though, because last week one of my other blogging friends posted about an embarrassing thing that happened to her. If you want to read her embarrassing moment and feel better, you can click her link from my blog and she is "Hospitality Lane".

By the way, Pam, I am offering you an award. You can receive it by visiting my blog.

Hahahahahahaha! I love you, Pam. I feel better now about some of the rather absent minded boo-boos I've made of late. :D
