ARTISTS WE'RE NOT!!!

One evening last week, we thought it would be fun to see who in our home could draw the best turkey. Who gets your vote" #1, #2, #3??? Leave your answer in your comment if you feel so inclined!

Some tidbits I collected during my walk in the park.

Proof we do get a little touch of fall here in Florida!

Items brought to my husband by a co-worker who was in Italy for training ---
an Italian newspaper and a map of Italy. As you can see, it was the morning after the big American election.
Oh and not pictured, A RING BLESSED BY THE POPE. We aren't Catholic, but thought the gesture was sweet. However, for a joke, my husband took the ring to our church Sunday evening. As we were leaving, he held it up to our BAPTIST pastor and jokingly asked him to bless it as well! He got a good chuckle from it.

Due to both the Italian and Spanish languages coming from Latin roots, any followers of my blog who speak (read) Spanish can enlarge this photo and make comparisons.

Yay- I love autumn even in the warm climates!

I choose drawing #1 because I love kids and turkey decor. I have many years of the drawings and cherish each one. So my vote is cast!

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

I think you guys did great on these! You all seem like artist, but I'm going to vote for Number One...my gummy bear. Although, I guess he's getting too old for that name anymore, huh? Sorry I don't leave comments like I should (consider my wrist slapped!) so I'm leaving this now, at 5:30 am...it's the only bit of free time in my day! :-)

All three of those turkeys are good, so I would find it hard to pick one as the best. I used to do a lot of drawing as a kid and I won a couple of awards in junior high, but my father always said that I did art with a capital "F", but then that was his particular type of a sense of humor.

Have a very Happy Thanksgiving. My prayers and blessings to all (yea, I'll bless Baptists too.) God bless.

They are all great, but Shaney Pooh gets my vote. I love his turkeys legs and would like one of those drumsticks!!!
However, I think Agustin's looks most realistic, like he's actually seen a turkey before the feathers were off...
