Mother and Daughter Tea, May 2007

It's Friday and we all know what that means. It's time to sign up on Mr. Linky over at Kelli's.

This week I chose to put up photos of the Mother and Daughter Tea I attended at my mother's church a couple of Saturday's ago. It was a sweet time of fellowship and the food was just wonderful! I hope you enjoy your visit with us!

Our Bulletin for the special time

Gourmet Chicken Salad on Croissants, Turkey with Cream Chees Sandwiches on Apple Bread, Orange Scones, Assorted Sweet Treats, Raspberry Tea and Lady Earl Tea

Entering the Fellowship Hall/The ladies of the church volunteered to be hostesses of a table. They brought in their best china and silver, tablecloths and napkins for the day.

Cody and Madison model the crowns they decorated while having their own separate Tea Party in the Princess Room!

Grace sang for us

Kim with her Girls

My Mom with Mrs. Todd and her Daughter

My dear friend Pat and her beautiful daughters, Rachel (left) and Miriam (right) prepared and served ALL the food and tea. They waited on us hand and foot. They are true servants and just love this type of ministering! What a blessing they have been in my life. Thanks for all your hard work girls! You made the day extra special.

A special side room off the fellowship hall was decorated and arranged for the little princesses so that they might have their own tea party! Here are special princess pop-tarts!

One of the tables set for the little princesses Tea Party!
There were also super large coloring posters of princesses hung all around the room for the little girls to color.

And the winner of the Mary Kay Gift is... Miss Denise!

Stephanie sang a special for us

Miss Sarah shared her testimony. She did a tremendous job sharing with us about working with the children at Hope Children's Home! It was very touching and hearts were moved. You can link over to the children's home website on my side bar blog roll.

Thanks for sharing this with us. We used to have a friendship tea in this area in May but they stopped doing it several years ago. I didn't realize how much I missed it until I saw your pictures, looks like a lovely time.

What a speical event - and I just love the kids table and pop tarts! Did they make them or do they sell them like that? Either way, they were cute!!

I also wanted to tell you that I just entered a Southern Living party for my sister and I purchased the cruet for myself - same colors as yours!!
