About a month or so ago, a meme was going around asking ladies to show what was in their purses. My sister named me to do it, so now without further adieu... Here you see everything that was in my purse. My black leather purse is in the background, hard to notice. You see here in the foreground my keys with heart chain, digital camera in a black leather case, a used pink Kleenex, Crest finger toothbrush, orbit gum , medication in yellow tupperware mini, store receipts, Olive Garden calculator, black wallet, brown credit card wallet, and some *personals* to name a few items.
A "To Go" menu from Olive Garden and my business card dispenser with hubby's business cards always at the ready!
Chocolate Bubble Yum from Christmas! This was Alex Leonard's pack of gum she left at our house on Christmas Eve. I guess I stuck it in my purse at some point, planning on returning it to her at church. Also the white slip of paper is a "fortune" taken out of a fortune cookie which I was saving to share with my niece Jayde. It says: "You have a deep interest in all that is artistic." Since this perfectly describes Jayde, I just couldn't help but think of her!
A few item up close! My Cell phone, two tubes of lipstick, a chap stick, eyeglass cleaner scarf, a huge office clip, my eyeglass holder, the white plastic wheel is a clock gear I carry around, trying to find a perfect match for my large living room wall clock, also a $5.oo off coupon to Vallarta's-our favorite authentic Mexican Restaurant in our town. Last but not least, in the upper right hand corner is part of one of my many smiley face tracts! I love to leave these in grocery stores and even in Walmart! Try placing them in cartons of beer! Yes! You can hide a tract in the cardboard case and no one is none the wiser until they get home and break into it. There they will find the gospel message! Also try slipping tracts into pant pockets in the stores or coat pockets! Its a hoot! Can you think of some more unique places to leave gospel tracts? Leave me your thoughts in my comment section.

WOW! And I thought I had a lot in my purse! LOL And yours is rather interesting and random!
yeah it's also nice to leave them in purses and wallets! Cause you always have to take out that paper stuff from inside...but what better to pull out than the Gospel?
Cool idea! Thanks Ash! I loved today! It was so much fun for me and I really let my hair down. Thank you all for allowing that!
How does all of that fit in your purse! ;-D Actually ... mine is pretty full too, but I don't think I'll share at this time. :-)
Por fin!! i love the tract idea!! LOL!!!
That's all fine and good but...where's your gun? My blog has a February post showing a picture of my air-soft gun and ammo purse.
;o)
April...not February. ooops.
Hilarious! My mom does that very thing about once a month, and it's a sight to behold! LOL!
Lots of stuff!!
Susan
WOW, I am glad I do not know how to post a pic.....you all migh be shocked at my purse!! HAHA!
Well, at least after our recent trip, It would have taken FOREVER to post everything in my "carryon!!"LOL
Thanks Pam, for being so transparent and sharing....I know that takes alot. Plus, a woman's purse is somewhat sacred....we carry all our life supplies there!!
And all we will need or may need....
Love ya!!
OOps, forgot to tell you to put the tracts in boxes of diapers ...also the payphone in the front or the Kiddie rides or those quarter m,achines (or is it 50 cents now?? (you know how kids want parents to reat EVERY WORD TO THEM AND EXPLAIN IT!!)
BTW, we recently got introduced to Pancho's Villa in Z'hills.....we actually liek the food there better b/c the chips are GREAT and the salsa, plus the food is seasoned well (the past three times at Vallarta's, it was bland and plain---goo figure!!)...try it, you'll like it!!
"Chocolate Bubble Yum"? Now I'm scared!
Aunt Pam: It was fun! There was no fear of us speaking our minds on...*certain* topics. LOL Being the men weren't present. So naturally, no pressure. It was nice to say somethings I had been wanting to for a while! It was nice! I'm glad I am comfortable with you and feel that I can say anything!*smiles*
It was too fun seeing what you had in your purse, Pam!! And I love your idea of hiding Bible tracts places. At first I was cracking up when you suggested putting them in pants and coats pockets. I imagined you sneaking up behind people and sneaking them into the pockets of the clothes people were wearing!! Then I realized, oh, she means the clothes on the rack.... or DOES she....??? :-) :-) :-)hee, hee!!
aaaargh..I just can't do it....my purse is usually a mess...and do you know I LOVE purses...some people love Shoes....etc....nope for me it is purses..and I get teased all the time.
My foolish pride will not let me reveal what is in my purse....
I do know there is some SEALED string cheese.....scary thougt.

Well, I just have one question. Where is the kitchen sink? (lol)
Love the tract idea.
You wouldn't want to see what is in mine and I have downsized lately...you just never know when you might need some of those things!
My purse filled friend(I know I have No shame...remember mine???)
As you may recall I am a tracts fiend...so here are some places we leave them
1) in a book in the library, it always appears to be a bookmark so the librarians leave them in.
2) in the button/notion section in the craft store.
3) in the tip(we give a million dollar tract with tip)
4) in a gift
5) in the lobby magazines, or on own at the orthodontist/dentist/and doctor
6) with a recipe card for a friend
7) in every Bible we give out
8) at the pay phone
9) and in the back seat of a cab
For Pat: We have tried Panco Villa's and it was okay in our opinion but both Agustin and I voted on Vallart's for next craving of Mexican food! Isn't that funny? Maybe we were at Old Pancho's on a bad day! I have photo to post of Pnacho's because I loved the looks of it.
My word! I must have been drunk on old Pancho's salsa when I typed that last comment. I have never seen so many type o's in one comment! LOL
Whoa!
If it doesn't fit in my pocket, I say... Of course, I still have to carry a diaper bag, so I have some leeway. ;)
You forgot the kitchen sink! You should see my purse it's flat because there's hardly anything in it including money! :o)
That was interesting Sis!! I have to say though that when you put tracts in beer cartons....don't let them be stamped from your church. We had people doing that and it got our church in trouble. They called and threatened to call the police to report us. They said that is illegal to do. So now we use tracts that don't have our church's name and address and/or phone number on it so they don't know where it came from or no way to prove it. But I leave tracts everywhere!!
Aunt Pam,
You can keep the gum....It stinks!!
I forgot about it until Mom told me you had it in your purse. Maybe you can give it to my dad for his birthday. HaHaHaHaHa J/K
Alex
Wow. I'm glad no one tagged me to do this one! :) I would be so embarrassed to show all the junk I carry in my purse. :P
