Granny Susie Reincarnated??
While visiting in West Virginia this summer, I met this dear lady at one of the churches I attended. I have to ask all my Riffe cousins out there; do you see a resemblance to our Granny Susie in her younger days? Aunt Catty was the first to point it out. After my aunt introduced us, I knew I just had to have my picture taken with this lady. Shamefully, I can't even remember this sweet lady's name right now, but I was thinking of my sister Rita and cousins Roy, Beki, Deb, and Ron when I asked for her picture. I knew you all would get a hoot out of it! Or am I way off base here? Maybe there is no resemblance at all!! Let me know what you think!

Take her bangs away, pull her hair back like Granny used to wear hers, and I think she may very well look like Granny. I might have to get my Crystal to help me with PhotoShop and put a picture of Granny next to this lady...
You know, they say everyone has a double...you found Granny's; that needle in a haystack.
Thank you, Sweetie!
She does look like her!
Her name is Jean Allen. She is a wonderful lady. I went to college with her daughter Rena. My 7th grade class started a dinner theater business one time, for real. It was a Jr. Achievement project and we did the play "Steel Magnolias." Jean was the best Ouiser ever. She was sooooo good. Cat was Claree and Virgie directed. I was Truvy and you should have seen how Mom did my hair. I think Cat has a video of it. You should watch it next time you come to WV.
Does it count that I've been known to call mom "Ouiser"? lol
